November 24, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Saturday 24th November 10.00am-1.00pm | £38 (Materials provided)

Are you looking to explore your artistic side and develop a new practical skill?

Then papercutting is for you.

This workshop is ideal for beginners who are interested in learning the basics of paper Cutting. Paper Cutting is a fast growing trend and a great way of creating designs to brighten up your home, create decorations for special occasions such as Christmas and Weddings, or make personal gifts for friends and family.

During this three hour workshop you will learn how to use a scalpol knife to cut intricate designs from existing templates. You will learn various techniques which Silvina will talk you through step by step, and will be encouraged to experiment with colours and textures using a selection of papers to create your piece. You will create your own artwork which you can then take home with you. Your work can then be mounted into a frame and given as a present, or displayed in your own home. You will also learn how to create your own designs for future artworks.

All materials will be provided, and you will get to go home with one small but wonderful artwork ready to frame and hang on your wall.

Classes are limited to 10 spaces so please be quick if you would like to book.

Silvina is been a paper artist for 8 years, she has been published in several books about Paper Cutting and did several paper illustration for publications. She is an illustrator and graphic designer, paper cutter and very experienced teacher, excited to pass on these skills to other makers.
